The Directors of Highland Control Systems Ltd recognize the importance of occupational safety, health and welfare in the successful operation of the companies’ activities.This statement is a declaration of the Directors intent to establish a safe and healthy working environment for all of the companies’ undertakings.
The activities of Highland Control Systems Ltd shall be undertaken in accordance with the Highland Control Systems Ltd, safety management system.
Those working on projects are expected to share and further develop Highland Control Systems Ltd commitment towards health and safety which is that:
All project personnel have a responsibility to identify and take appropriate steps to rectify unsafe working situations.
Safe working systems and practices shall be developed and implemented for identified work activities.
All work will be carried out in accordance with the relevant statutory provision. All line managers are to ensure that effective health and safety management procedures and resources are in place to fulfill statutory duties and the Highland Control Systems Ltd standards.
Training of persons working on projects to enable them to carry out their work safely is an essential part of effective safety management.
The Directors of the Highland Control Systems Ltd will set objectives and targets that will be regularly reviewed and revised. Highland Control Systems Ltd is committed to continual improvement of its health and safety performance to ensure that the best practices are implemented. The Directors shall ensure that sufficient resources are provided to enable compliance with this policy.
The responsibility for the management of health and safety lies with all Directors and line Managers. Health and Safety high standards are considered to be of equal importance with quality, production and the achievement of commercial targets.
